Charles River has an established and comprehensive analytical service that supports residue and pharmacokinetic investigations. Our specialists have many years of experience in the efficient transfer of analytical methodologies to meet the regulatory requirements of any study. If a suitable method does not exist for the required analysis, we offer a complete method development service with advice on the most suitable methods of extraction, separation and detection.
All data is collected and processed using validated systems. For residue studies, if the formulation is available at the time of conducting the ADME investigations, then the marker residue analysis can be combined with the radiolabeled phase and reported together.
Charles River can conduct analytical analysis using the following methods:
- HPLC (UV/visible, diode array, fluorescence, refractive index, light scattering, electrochemical)
- GC (FID, NPD, TCD, ECD, FPD)
-
LC-MS, GC-MSD, LC-MS/MS, time of flight (QToF, IT-ToF)
-
Capillary electrophoresis (diode array, UV/visible)
-
Dionex ion chromatography (conductivity detection)
-
IEP-OES (Optima 8000)
