The Capital Projects Management team at Charles River has the experience and expertise to manage such projects and offers a turnkey approach that provides a smooth transition from real estate to the project management phase.
The Capital Project Management group has two primary customers, the Charles River International Business Segments and the clients we support. As such, the Capital Project Management team provides extraordinary customer support by accomplishing the following:
- Serving as the project executive or project manager in support of internal Charles River international projects, or as the owner’s representative on external projects
- Participating in the bid phase, including A/E and construction manager selection
- Leading the preconstruction phase, including preparation of preliminary schedules, estimates, and project work plans

Participating with the team in the value management process to obtain the best value for each project

Developing the preliminary schedule into a project master, milestone, and critical path schedule

Developing the preliminary estimate into a project budget, which will ultimately be converted to a lump sum or Guaranteed Maximum Price

Interfacing with GFMS disciplines (EHS, Risk, Safety, Engineering and Technical Services) as required to support ongoing projects and initiatives

Integrating with the legal department as required
