Well Characterized Biologicals/Product and Process Variants & Impurities
Oct 21 - 23 2013
Washington, DC
IBC's Well Characterized Biologicals Conference provides detailed case studies of the challenges, strategies and technologies involved in characterization and comparability of new biological molecules. This year, the Well Characterized Biologicals Conference is co-located with IBC's Inaugural Product and Process Variants & Impurities Conference, which will explore the major classes of product and process-related impurities that can affect the safety, efficacy and overall structure of a molecule targeted for a biologic or protein therapeutic.
Charles River will be attending this conference as well as participating in the program.
-
Dr. Michael Hantman will be presenting in the program regarding host cell protein testing with a talk titled “The Devil in the Detail – HCP Assay Performance by Design”.
-
Dr. Douglas Brown will also have a poster at the conference titled “Host Cell Residual DNA Analysis from Process Intermediates to Final Products” examining the testing of host-cell DNA process intermediates in various matrix concentrations by quantitative fluorescent PCR .
