Through effective orientation and training, our objective is to continually reinforce the culture of caring that has been a passion of Charles River employees for over 50 years. The Animal Welfare Specialists at our sites manage seminars, discussion groups, and individual counseling sessions to reinforce the cultural message.

"Animal Welfare Begins with You" posters are prominently displayed to remind employees of our commitment to animal welfare. These posters offer employees ways to ask questions about animal welfare practices and voice any animal welfare concerns.
