Managing Risk in Manufacturing Environments with Accurate Microbial Identification

Mar 21 2013

Consistent identification methods will yield data that allows for comprehensive and reliable tracking and trending during routine monitoring of and investigations into excursions. The identification of microorganisms can be done by different processes, and these methods have different levels of accuracy and reproducibility. This webinar shows the impact of library databases on the accuracy and reliability of species-level identification through a review of case studies and root-cause analysis of contamination events.
