Adventitious Virus Testing: A Comprehensive Approach including Massively Parallel Sequencing
Jul 23 2013
Testing cell lines, raw materials and products for the absence of adventitious agents is one approach to control potential contamination of pharmaceutical products produced in cell substrates. The utilization of multiple adventitious virus detection and cell substrate characterization techniques are highlighted in this webinar to show how parallel and sequential testing by several methods provides an increased level of confidence in product safety. Case study data is also presented to demonstrate how MPS/NGS and the resulting analysis is a valuable tool for enhancing biosafety testing and safety monitoring programs.
