Charles River Announces Local Alliance in Australia
October 14, 2011- Charles River Biopharmaceutical Services (BPS) is pleased to announce a new alliance with JDJ Bioservices, an Australian biotechnology services and consultancy business. This company will be the representative for Charles River BPS in Australia and New Zealand.Charles River BPS delivers client-focused solutions tailored to the specific testing and manufacturing requirements of biologics. The five BPS facilities, located in the U.S., U.K., Ireland, and Germany, are part of a global scientific network supporting clients throughout the biologic development cycle from the establishment and characterization of cell banks through preclinical and clinical studies to marketed product. The BPS sites follow international regulatory guidelines for testing and clinical-scale manufacturing of biologics. Assays offered range from cell characterization and process validation studies to stability and product release testing. Manufacturing services include cell banking and storage, fill and finish, and viral vaccine and antisera production. These testing and manufacturing services help clients accelerate their drug development from concept to product release.
