Newly Validated Capillary Microsampling Method Improves Toxicology Testing

January 10, 2012 - The Charles River Edinburgh Preclinical facility now offers a newly validated capillary microsampling method. This method reduces small animal usage for toxicology studies and helps refine data by measuring full toxicokinetic profiles for each animal. Plasma micro-sample collection is currently available; the validation for serum is underway.

A presentation on capillary microsampling called “Small Things, Big Challenges” is available through our online portal, The SourceSM.
