Access Xenograft Data for Immunodeficient Models
May 8, 2012 - To help you select the most appropriate model for your in-house tumor xenograft studies, Charles River has published baseline xenograft data on the Athymic Nude, CB.17-SCID and SCID Hairless Outbred (SHO®) mice.
Graphs for tumor growth rates and standard agent efficacy are available in the following immunodeficient animal models.
CB.17-SCID (Strain Code 236)
Athymic Nude (Strain Code 490)
MX-1 Human Breast Tumor
A2780 Human Ovarian Tumor
U87MG Human Glioma Tumor
A375 Human Melanoma Tumor
SCID Hairless Outbred (SHO®) (Strain Code 474)
Only available through Charles River, this hairless SCID can act as an alternative to the standard outbred nude, or as a cost-effective model for cell lines routinely grown in the standard congenic CB.17-SCID.
A549 Human Lung Tumor
A2780 Human Ovarian Tumor
MX-1 Human Breast Tumor
U87MG Human Glioma Tumor
More xenograft data for other models will be published in the future as it is compiled. For more information about these data or any of our immunodeficient models, contact us at 1-877-CRIVER-1 or at askcharlesriver@crl.com.
