Our Ecotoxicology group is experienced in conducting studies required to assess the environmental risk of agrochemicals. The group offers a range of toxicity-based studies, including:
- Avian
- Fish, including acute, chronic, reproductive, and development studies
- Bioconcentration, bioaccumulation, and metabolism in fish and invertebrates
- Aquatic plants
- Terrestrial and aquatic invertebrates (including beneficial insects)
- Soil micro-organisms
- Seedling emergence
- Growth and vegetative vigour
Charles River has substantial experience in handling materials that are difficult and challenging, such as volatile, unstable, or poorly soluble chemicals.
