Endosafe®-PTS™ Cartridge Manufacturing Expands to New Class 100 Suite

With broad customer acceptance and implementation of the FDA-licensed Endosafe®-PTS™ endotoxin method, Charles River has increased cartridge manufacturing capabilities by launching a new validated class 100 clean room at its Charleston, South Carolina facility. The new clean room is significantly larger in capacity and accommodates more equipment and trained personnel than the prior space. 

John Dubczak, Operations Manager at this facility elaborates, "This larger manufacturing suite and a focused effort to optimize the validated equipment used in PTS™ manufacturing effectively triples LAL cartridge manufacturing capacity. Charles River's continued investment in PTS™ manufacturing technology truly reflects our commitment to ensure the consistent availability of our FDA-licensed PTS™ cartridges for endotoxin testing."
