Charles River uses animals from its specific-pathogen-free (SPF) breeding facilities for immunization, resulting in a minimized background signal of the serum and an identical genetic background. Furthermore, all procedures performed during immunization are described in our Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) to ensure a high-quality product.
