In a typical routine health surveillance program, sentinel animals are screened quarterly:

• Annual Health Monitoring (HM) Protocol (includes components listed see below).
• Quarterly serology for the most prevalent agents.

Components of a routine health surveillance program:

• Necropsy and sample collection
• Serology (immunocompetent models)
• Parasitology
• Microbiology
• Infectious disease PCR
• Histopathology

 
Based on your needs, programs can be customized. Also, clinical chemistry and hematology can be added to any protocol.

We provide prompt and thorough diagnostic necropsy evaluation of sick animals to assist in the detection of unexpected disease. Our ACVP board-certified veterinary pathologists will review the history and devise an assessment plan.

To ensure the welfare of the sick animals, all diagnostic cases that come into our health monitoring laboratories are given priority and processed immediately upon receipt.
