Cytokine Reporter Mouse Models

Foxp3-IRES-mRFP and IL-4-IRES-eGFP reporter mouse models provide a direct snapshot of the immune response polarization. IL-4 and FoxP3 expressing cells can be detected and sorted without any cell permeabilization. Cells can be traced in vivo or after cell transfer experiments.

New and Unique Knock-out Rat Models for Physiopathological Studies

The Serotonin Transporter KO rat can be used to study anxiety, depression and drug addiction. This model displays a total loss of Serotonin Receptor activity, an increase in anxiety and depression, and modified substance abuse behavior.

The Nociceptin Receptor KO rat can be used to study pain, depression and drug addiction. This model displays a total loss of Nociceptin Receptor activity and no adaptative change in other opioid receptor levels (kappa, delta, mu).

These “off-the-shelves” models:

  • are kept as respiratory colonies;
  • may be licensed or accessible by unit/cohorts
  • are maintained at Charles River and health monitored by Charles River prior to delivery.
