The immunostimulation model can be utilized to assess a drug candidate’s ability to reduce the ability of T cells to induce antibody production against an antigenic challenge. In this model, animals are administered either TNP-OVA in alum or KLH via intraperitoneal injection. A blood sample is taken and processed for antigen-specific IgM and IgG levels.
