Our state-of-the-art facilities include seven BIOQUANT image analysis systems operated by highly trained technical staff, supervised by ACVP, RCPath, and ECVP board-certified pathologists, capable of measuring all of the standard and user-defined static and dynamic measurements for bone and medical devices. Results are reported in accordance with the nomenclature set forth by the ASBMR and our procedures have been validated for GLP compliance.
Our histomorphometric expertise also extends to characterize changes in other organ systems, including:
-
Small intestine villus length, crypt depth, and villus/crypt ratios
-
Immunohistochemically stained liver, lung, and stomach cells
-
Diameter of stented blood vessels
-
Extent of infarcts in the heart
