JAX™ Mice Strain: CBA/J

CBA/J

ORIGIN
The CBA mouse was developed by Strong in 1920 from a cross between a Bagg albino female and a DBA male. It was introduced into The Jackson Laboratory in 1948 at the F-67 generation and then into Charles River Laboratories France in August 1982 at the F-186 generation. Replacement of the PES in 2005.
