The Multiplexed Fluorometric ImmunoAssay (MFIA) serologic test method can perform as many as 100 different assays in a single microplate well. This innovation decreases the amount of serum, reagents and disposables required for routine testing. It also allows for the incorporation of multiple proprietary internal controls to verify sample and system suitability–thereby increasing the accuracy of results. In this new JoVE video, titled “Multiplexed Fluorometric ImmunoAssay (MFIA) Testing Methodology and Troubleshooting”, we review MFIA reagent and sample preparation, describe sample processing and provide a representation of testing results.
