Charles River can provide rat, mouse, guinea pig, hamster, gerbil, or large animal biospecimens upon request. Each order is priced individually based on the strain of animal desired and the complexity of the procedure. Biospecimens are collected and processed in our surgical facilities by experienced surgical technicians.
Routine biospecimen inquiries have included samples of whole blood, serum, plasma, heart, lung, liver, kidney, spleen, pancreas, stomach, uterus, ovary, testicle, bone, muscle, tail, skin, and brain. Other tissue and fluid samples are available upon request.
