Charles River Laboratories offers a broad range of archival services which adhere to the standards mandated by Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations. Our archival facilities and services meet or exceed all regulatory requirements for storage, tracking, and retrieval capabilities. We are committed to preserving and maintaining the quality and integrity of your data and offering expedient retrieval of your resources.

We have over 100,000 square feet of dedicated space protected by several layers of security, such as controlled access via both card key and traditional lock and key, 24-hour security monitoring with automatic fire and police notification, temperature monitoring, fire wall, and automatic sprinklers. Special temperature- and humidity-controlled areas are also available to carefully store your electronic media. Storage conditions available include room temperature, refrigerated, and frozen at -20°C or -70°C. Our archival managers conduct an inventory upon receipt, periodic inventory and materials inspections, hard copy transfer to CD and microform, microform printing, plus pick-up and delivery services for both short-term and long-term storage.
