Toxicologic Pathology Charles River is the largest provider of toxicologic pathology research services in the industry. In addition to traditional toxicologic pathology studies, we provide state-of-the-art specialized molecule-specific techniques to accommodate the needs in the rapidly evolving cellular and molecular pathology segment of the biomedical community. Charles River operates full-service laboratories with facilities and program/project offices at numerous locations around the globe. All of the facilities are functionally integrated and offer interactive services to fulfill the needs of our clients. Each of the laboratories is equipped to provide complete GLP-compliant necropsy, histology, and histopathology services, and many are prepared to routinely offer a wide variety of specialty pathology-based disciplines to support research programs. Many of our pathologists and other scientists have served as members or leaders of prestigious national committees and are active in national and international pathology organizations.These groups are responsible for establishing criteria for the interpretation of controversial tissue changes in both spontaneous and induced diseases of animals, as well as in vivo toxicology and carcinogenesis studies. |
