Environmental Fate (eFate) Studies

Charles River can support the eFate needs of your biocide development program in our modern, open-plan, flexible laboratories using soils, sediments and natural waters sourced from sites worldwide. The viability (biomass) of each test system is verified (if applicable) prior to study initiation.

Studies include:

  • Aerobic and anaerobic degradation in soil and aquatic sediment systems
  • Mineralization in surface water
  • Soil adsorption-desorption/mobility
  • Hydrolytic stability
  • Photolytic stability (soil and aqueous)
  • Sludge adsorption/desorption
  • Radiolabeled or nonradiolabeled
