Services to Meet REACH Requirements

The REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 came into effect on June 1, 2007, creating a single registration system for both new and existing chemicals in Europe. This made manufacturers and importers responsible for gathering information on the properties of their chemical substances for inclusion on a central database held by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). At this point, companies are looking ahead to future REACH registration deadlines, which include 2013 (substances supplied at ≥100 tonnes per year) and 2018 (substances supplied at ≥1 tonne per year).

Charles River has supported the chemical industry for over 40 years. Drawing on our REACH compliance experience, we offer a full range of studies to meet the requirements of REACH:

  • Physicochemical testing
