Specific pathogen-free (SPF) chickens are used for veterinary vaccine production and research, plus as sentinels for virus isolation. Charles River has grow houses in the US for the production of SPF chickens ranging from one day to seven weeks old to meet your exact requirements. Older birds may be available upon request.
