SPF Eggs and Chickens
SPF eggs for poultry and human vaccines are produced in filtered-air-positive-pressure (FAPP) poultry housing under critical biosecurity measures.
All of our products, services, and production procedures follow the same exacting standards that are synonymous with the Charles River name. Our intensive weekly quality control program exceeds USDA Memo 800.65 and European Pharmacopoeia requirements.
Chickens
To meet the high demand of our customers, we produce chickens for sale ranging in age from one day to six weeks. Chickens older than six weeks are available upon request. Each shipment is accompanied by quality control sheets, which certify the birds to be free of the listed poultry pathogens.
