Mary Dougherty began working at Charles River in December of 2006 as a laboratory technician after graduating with a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University. She became the Horsham site’s first dedicated Necropsy Technical Trainer in 2008, worked full time while attending night classes to earn her Master of Science from Villanova University in December of 2010 and is currently pursuing an online Master of Business Administration from Drexel University. In 2012, she joined the Research group at Charles River as a Photobiology Study Director and in more recent years has shifted her focus to the safety assessment of large molecules, including various genetic toxicity, cellular therapy and vaccine study designs.
