Our South San Francisco site focuses on the comprehensive early assessment of ADME properties via rapid pharmacokinetic screening and non-GLP bioanalysis, but its connection to a global network gives clients seamless access to additional services to address the needs of basic research through market approval and beyond.

The Charles River South San Francisco location is also a source of dedicated neuroscience support. Our on-site team of neuroscience researchers partner with clients to advance developments in the treatment of neurologic disorders, offering expertise in disease pathophysiology sophisticated technologies like microdialysis and EEG testing.

CRADL™ West

Charles River opened its second Accelerator and Development Lab CRADL™ facility in January of 2020. Like its counterpart in Cambridge, MA, CRADL™ West provides flexible, turnkey vivarium rental space supported by our own technical, vivarium, and veterinary expertise. Virtual biotechs and large organizations alike can extend their research capabilities through vivarium rentals that eliminate the prohibitive cost of infrastructure. Available in short-or long-term contracts, CRADL™ sets no time limits for vivarium rentals; space can be privately occupied or shared with partners as a low-cost solution for start-up or pilot research projects.
