Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Updates

In response to the current outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that was first reported from Wuhan, China, on December 31, 2019, Charles River has assembled a global team of internal experts who are closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and its impact on employee safety and our business operations. To keep clients informed, we will post updates to this web page.

Charles River corporate headquarters

October 22, 2021 – As a science-based company with a commitment to protect the health and safety of our people, Charles River is complying with the U.S. Presidential Executive Order and has implemented a COVID-19 vaccination policy requiring all of our U.S. based employees to be fully vaccinated by December 8, 2021. We are pleased to report that the vast majority of our work force had already been fully vaccinated before the new policy was implemented, and we are working with the remaining team members to facilitate that their vaccination status complies with the both the executive order and our internal policies.

If you are a frequent visitor to Charles River U.S. locations, you may also be required to comply with these or similar standards. Please be sure and check with your Charles River host in advance of your visit for specific policies that may affect site access.

We continue to be pleased and proud of partnering with our clients in support of their mission to improve the quality of life for people and animals.
