Harun Rashid is a senior scientist at Charles River specializing in the study of pain and inflammation. Prior to joining the company's Safety Assessment site in Montreal in 2012, Harun worked as an in vivo pharmacologist with AstraZeneca's Montreal division. He did his postdoctoral work at McGill University in Canada and Kyushu University in Japan. He has extensive experience in pain biology and pain electrophysiology and has co-authored close to two dozen scientific papers. He received his doctoral degree from Nagasaki University.
