EU Approves Moderna Vaccine
The Moderna COVID vaccine has been recommended for use in the EU by the European Medicines Agency. This is the second COVID vaccine approved in the EU, and comes amid criticism from some over the rollout of vaccinations in Europe.
There is a large discrepancy among countries, from just over 500 jabs administered in France in the first week compared with 240,000 in Germany. The European Commission has stated that they are focused on the implementation of their vaccine rollout strategy. Read more at CNBC.
