You can depend on our scientific expertise in microbial identification and strain typing services to support your quality management programs.
Monitor your facility and products against bacterial contamination.
Data gathered from a well-designed and executed environmental monitoring (EM) program provide critical information for tracking and trending on a routine basis. Accurate and consistent species-level identifications result in more confidence in the control of your environment.
Microbial Identification Products & Services
Our AccuGENX-ST® sequence typing allows for comparison below the species level and verification of your probiotic.
It can be used for verification of strains for the microbes used in your products. The resulting DNA sequences, or sequence types, are compared to others in a database and the relationships displayed in a phylogenetic tree. The foundation is built upon DNA sequencing results. SLST/MLST data serve as primary resources for tracking and documenting the genetic relationship of bacteria at a global scale. Results are easily cataloged and referenced for future comparisons. These techniques are highly reproducible, unambiguous and scalable.
Our protocols are designed to meet needed regulatory requirements.
Charles River is ready to help you with your toxicology testing needs. Our exceptional team of scientists regularly design and perform safety programs ranging from acute through chronic toxicity and carcinogenicity studies, and we offer a broad range of animal models and numerous routes of administration.
