With 16 years of CRO and pharmaceutical experience, Tim Sangster takes the helm of Charles River’s Edinburgh and Den Bosch facilities as newly appointed European Head of Chromatographic Bioanalysis. In this capacity, Tim will ensure all work at these sites meets client timelines while maintaining compliance with GLP and GCP requirements.
Tina Satterwhite brings 15 years of experience to her new role as Senior Director of Global Laboratory Sciences. Together with our global laboratory science leaders, she will advance Charles River’s immunology discipline and core competencies to include new platforms, technologies, and applications.
As an active member of the bioanalytical community and American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, Valerie Theobold will use her 25 years of industry experience to direct Charles River’s Immunoanalytical Services group based in Worcester. Valerie will lend her expertise in ligand binding assay platforms for PK, immunogenicity, and translational biomarkers for a wide variety of therapeutic areas and molecular modalities, including recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, cell-based therapies, gene-therapies, ASO therapies, and biosimilar therapeutics to support client programs.
Vimal Patel began as Director of Laboratory Sciences at Charles River’s Reno site this January. He has extensive expertise in developing and executing pharmacokinetic, immunogenicity, and biomarker assays in a GXP environment and in laboratory operations. He previously spent 10 years at Amgen as a scientist focused on large molecule bioanalysis, where he developed and validated assays and provided scientific oversight of large molecule and biomarker outsourcing in the PKDM group.
