Overview
- Antigens: KLH, TT, NP-CGG
- Species: Mouse, Rat, Standard Large Animal Models
The T-cell-dependent antibody response (TDAR) to an antigen is a gold standard for assessing the impact of a drug on immune-competence at the preclinical stage of drug discovery. This assay is a measure of immune function, which is dependent upon the effectiveness of multiple immune processes, including antigen uptake and presentation, T cell help, B cell activation, and antibody production.
TDAR models at Charles River are validated in mice, rats, and standard large animals.
Figure 1: Following the administration of KLH at two different doses (one optimal and one sub-optimal), the dose responses of IgGs and IgMs against KLH in rats are evaluated.
