Filtered Crate for SPF Rodent Shipments from France

In order to provide a clear view of animals throughout the transportation process, three observation openings with a red plastic film have been specially designed and added to the top of the crate. A key benefit of the new Novopack is how the red film allows for ample observation during transport, while protecting animals from overexposure of light. Studies have shown that rodent retinas do not contain red cones, making mice and rats 12 times less sensitive to red light than humans.*
