The first email you receive indicates that a member of our team is either completing the quote you requested or working to secure the models you requested.
It will be followed by another email containing either the final quote or confirmation of your order.

Only some people at my organization are authorized to order research animal models. What if other people try to order animal models?
We understand that research animal model orders are often managed by a central core team (e.g., the animal procurement team). We have lists of organization-specific 'authorized buyers' set up in our order system.
Once we receive a request, it is reviewed by a member of our customer service team before any order can be placed. If an unauthorized buyer tries to place an order, we will advise them of how to appropriately proceed.

Which rodent surgeries do you offer?
We offer a variety of surgical models and services on multiple rodent species (rat, mouse, guinea pig, hamster, and gerbil). These services range from simple procedures (e.g., soft tissue/organ extractions) to highly complex catheterizations and cannulations. All procedures are conducted by highly skilled veterinary surgeons.

Charles River Pre-ID™ services enable you to receive animal models that have been identified with the codes you provide us.
