Cognitive dysfunction is a frequent comorbidity in multiple sclerosis (MS), but standardized studies of cognition in rodent MS models are rare. A modified mouse model of demyelination induced by cuprizone was tested for cognitive changes utilizing translational touchscreen-based operant assays that employ settings (touchscreen) and reactions (screen touches) similar to those used in humans.

This webinar is useful for neurobiologists interested in modeling MS cognitive symptoms in rodents as well as for neuropharmacologists engaged in the development of novel MS therapeutics.
