Endotoxins are ubiquitous – they’re in the soil, air, and water we encounter every day of our lives. Normally they don’t present any problems, but if they should enter our bloodstream, it can be the very worst news possible; therefore, the control of water systems within hemodialysis centers is critical not just to the facility, but more so the patients treated at that facility.

This presentation aims to further the understanding of the harmful effects of endotoxins and how to control them through simple, rapid, and quantitative testing.
