Do you know the capabilities of humanized mice?
They can be powerful tools used to evaluate numerous preclinical applications, including the safety and efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors. Severely immunodeficient animals are required to support human cell engraftment in addition to the ability to generate differentiated multilineage human hematopoietic cells after human hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) engraftment.
Humanized mice have unique advantages in providing a more accurate preclinical model for the evaluation of immuno-oncology therapeutics. We will provide an introduction into human CD34+ humanization, discuss the immunophenotypic characterization and performance of a new humanized mouse model, and share immune checkpoint inhibitor data.
