Blane is the Associate Director of Inhalation Science at Charles River's Edinburgh site, leading a team focused on inhalation safety assessments. Blane holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow and has expertise in physico-chemical analysis, particularly in hydrogen storage and heterogeneous catalysis. Since joining Charles River in 2016 as a Senior Scientist, he has advanced to his current role, driving improvements in quality and efficiency within the department and maintaining Charles River's leadership in inhalation science.
