Inclusive Neurogenetics
Better medicine means more inclusive genomic studies. Part of our ongoing series on the next 50 years of neuroscience
Although European populations only make up 15% of the world's population, they account for a disproportionate percentage of genome-wide association studies. More inclusive practices are required in order to bring the best treatments to patients, starting from foundational genomic research.
We speak with Katie Barnes from Fios Genomics about this topic, and how she sees the field moving in the next ten years.
