Marie-Soleil develops immunotoxicology assays to evaluate the effects of drugs on the immune system as well as pharmacodynamic assays for mode of action investigations. Prior to joining Charles River in 2009, she studied immunology at McGill University and obtained her PhD at the Montreal University Research Center, where she published results on the role of autoantibodies in the protection against autoimmune-induced thrombosis.


Cancer Vaccines and Adjuvants

Two broad types of cancer vaccines exist: preventive cancer vaccines, which target infectious agents causing cancer development, and therapeutic vaccines, which treat an existing cancer by strengthening the body’s natural defense.
