Melvin Lye

Melvin Lye is a seasoned professional in the life sciences industry, currently serving as the Senior Director of Scientific Affairs and Product at Curiox Biosystems Inc. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Lye has a distinguished career marked by innovation and leadership.
Prior to joining Curiox Biosystems, Lye worked at the Monoclonal Antibody Unit at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A*STAR. There, he focused on the development and application of monoclonal antibodies, contributing significantly to the advancement of hybridoma technology. He was also instrumental in pioneering the antibody phage display service with full automation.
Lye joined Curiox Biosystems in 2010 as a scientist, where he played a pivotal role in developing the DropArray™ technology for 384-well bioassay miniaturization. His leadership skills were evident as he took on key responsibilities in various departments, including field application and sales, during the commercialization of DropArray™ and Laminar Wash™ technologies.
